Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions set out how The Roaming Kiln provides services and products. By booking, purchasing, or using our website, you agree to the terms below.

1. Bookings & Payments

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, or at least 48 hours before collection/delivery of pottery kits.

  • Prices are listed in GBP (£) and may be updated at any time.

  • Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

2. Events & Workshops

  • Spaces are limited and reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • The Roaming Kiln reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. If this happens, you’ll be offered a full refund or transfer to another date.

3. Pottery Kits & Hire

  • All kits remain the property of The Roaming Kiln until returned.

  • Customers are responsible for the safe care of all kit items. Charges may apply for lost or damaged items.

  • Payment must be made before collection/delivery.

4. Keepsake & Personalised Pottery

  • Once work has begun on personalised items, they are non-refundable.

  • Any faults or errors must be reported within 7 days of collection. We will do our best to put things right.

5. Website Use

  • Content on this site is the property of The Roaming Kiln. Please do not copy or reproduce without permission.

  • We are not responsible for third-party links or content accessed through this site.

6. Liability

  • The Roaming Kiln is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during events, workshops, or while using pottery kits at home.

  • Participants are responsible for supervising children and ensuring a safe environment when using paints and equipment.

7. Privacy

  • We only collect and use personal data to process bookings and provide services. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy

8. Delivery & Shipping Policy

Collection & Local Delivery

  • Pottery kits can be collected from Pulloxhill or delivered locally by arrangement.

  • Delivery times will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Postal Deliveries (if offered)

  • We may occasionally offer postage of pottery kits or completed items. If available, delivery costs and times will be stated at checkout or agreed at booking.

  • Orders are usually processed within 7 working days. You will receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

  • We are not responsible for delays once items are in the care of the courier or postal service.

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days with photos so we can resolve the issue.
